- For his country's sake - Memorial Card -- [1917]. Memorial card for Lieutenant Lawrence Labell Davidson of the 5th Battalion C.E.F. The front of the card has a silver and black border. In the centre is a cross with a wreath below it and two Union Jack flags at half mast on either side with the flag poles crossing at the top of the cross. Below this is "For his country's sake." Inside the card are the same borders. On the left side is the 5th Battalion crest for Western Cavalry. On the right side is information in silver text about Lawrence Davidson. He was wounded at Passchendaele on November 11th 1917 and died in hospital on November 25th in No.14 General Hospital, France at age 21. The bottom of the card says "Regina 1917".

Cream coloured Christmas card with an embosed bouquet of blue forget-me-not flowers on the front, and a blue banner at the top of the card with "Forget-me-not" written in cream. The card is held together with a blue cord. The card measures 3.5" in length and 5" in height. The inside of the card has a short poem for Christmas. The card is from Arthur.

Written in gold at the top is " May All Your Troubles Be Little Ones This Christmas". In red at the bottom of the page is "I hope my little Christmas gift You'll not think out of place, I thought perhaps, 'twould serve to keep Your hand in, Just In Case". Inside on the left of the card is "To .... H.H. Stewart", "From... A Dear Friend". On the right is "At Christmas, My wish to you this Christmas-tide "May Luck and Joy with you abide"".

The card is white with silver branches at left, with red, pink and white blossoms, gold and blue bar across top, yellow and black butterflies. There is a short verse "This merry little greeting...". Written in ink on the top right corner is "1926". Signature in black ink in lower right corner reads: "Mother".

- Card received by Edna Caroline Corner (nee Bateman) from her mother, Mrs. E.W. Bateman, likely on the occasson of her daughter, Catherine Levins' birth. Item donated by Cathy Levins, grand-daughter of Elwin W. Bateman. Elwin W. Bateman and his second wife, Mary (Dale) Bateman moved into a landmark home built in the Deer Lake Crescent subdivision of Burnaby in 1922. The home is now a heritage landmark in Burnaby, and is located at the Burnaby Village Museum.
