Newspaper clipping attached to verso of photograph reads: "CAUGHT BY THE FEVER / The days of hard-bitten, gold-smitten men during B.C.'s gold rush are long gone but the precious yellow metal still has an irresistible lure. Ann Davie of Coquitlam and other students at the B.C. Institute of Technology caught the fever while panning for gold - real gold - in a sluice box at the mining display during BCIT's Career Exposition Friday."
