at Barnet was chosen and two huge steel towers on opposite
sides ofthe inlet crossing just east ofthe village were erected. Further down the inlet,
at the smaller peninsula north ofthe tract, other industries moved in. The Western
Canada Fish Company built a fish curing plant to process salmon and halibut
