- Pin, round, enamelled brass. Wide blue border around outside with thin gold edges and gold lettering "INTERNATIONAL. BOWLING. TEAM. / VISIT. 1927. TO. CANADA". Inner part of pin is cruciform, with round centre connected to outer edge with four arms, open cut-out areas between. Each arm shows a coloured enamel floral symbol. At top is the rose, at right are shamrocks, at bottom is the lily, at left is the thistle. At the centre of the pin is the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom in red and blue with gold. Locking pin back on reverse, open loop. "R. SCOTT / GLASGOW" in raised letters near bottom edge. Some discolouration on back, very slight wear on front.

- Uniform; women's jacket and skirt. Jacket in yellow, adorned with a B.C. Centennial badge with the offical emblem of a stylized grouping of the three "C's" representing Canada, Confederation, Centennial, with the provincial floral emblem, the dogwood, in the centre; two plastic buttons in tortoise shell design as centre fasteners; jacket style with lapels and two waist level pockets. Straight style short skirt in brown fabric.
- Object History
- The jacket and skirt were issued to female members of Burnaby's 1971 Centennial Committee. It is believed that these pieces belonged to Mary D. Trainer, who was the Centennial Co-ordinator hired to help organize a variety of community events to commemorate the 100th anniversary of British Columbia's entry into Confederation. Burnaby's Centennial Committee was chaired by Mr. James Barrington. The committee organized a variety of community events, including the construction of a Heritage Village (now Burnaby Village Museum). Mrs. Trainer altered her skirt to be shorter than the standard issue skirt: shorter skirts were a more fashionable look for a young woman at the time.

- Edward VII (Albert Edward; 9 November 1841 – 6 May 1910) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India from 22 January 1901 until his death on 6 May 1910.

- On lid "DIEU ET MON DROIT". Under portraits "HIS LATE MAJESTY" "KING EDWARD VII, 1901-1910.", and "HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN MOTHER". Both sides of the tin feature "ER VII".

- Passport to Burnaby - Leaflet -- [1992]. A commemorative leaflet as part of the Burnaby Centennial Celebration. The goal was to promote travel to host centres to receive a stamp as part of a passport. When all stamps were collected the page could be entered into a draw. Participating Host Centres were C.G. Brown Memorial Swimming Pool, Cameron Recreation Centre, Confederation Centre, Burnaby Mountain Golf Course, Burnaby Municipal Hall, Burnaby Village Museum, Bob Prittie Metrotown Branch, The Burnaby Arts Centre, Still Creek Recycling Depot, and Bonsor Recreation Complex. The passport has been stamped for Burnaby Municipal Hall. The leaflet was produced by the Finance Department and the Centennial Committee. The leaflet measures 28cm x 21.5cm.

- Plaque. Badge shaped, made of ply-wooden, the background is painted yellow/tan and the lettering is black.
- Object History
- The plaque commemorates the history of the British Columbia Electric Railway in Burnaby, and the preservation of tram #1223 by the Burnaby Historical Society in 1958. Interurban tram No. 1223 has been restored by the joint efforts of the Friends of 1223 and Burnaby Village Museum. In March 2007 the tram was officially returned to Burnaby Village Museum and is currently on display, in a replica of a Tram Car Barn, at the Museum.

- "This Interurban Tram Car was built in 1913 by the St. Louis Car Co. for the British Columbia Electric Railway Co. and operated over that company's three lines in Burnaby until abandonment, November 1956. - Part of the 1912 C.W. Parker Carousel. Carousel horse No. 3, "Champion." 3. "Hunter's Pride" style, roached mane jumper, upright neck, head forward, mouth open, ears back. Colour: Brown black. Trappings: Red brown stippled saddle, bronze trim. English Setter dog's head on back of the cantle. Hare and rifle hanging under the side edge of saddle. Red and white blankets with amethyst cabochons and emerald facetted jewels and gold trim and fringe. Gold bridle with emerald jewel in concho. Neck collar is red with gold trim set with amber, emerald and clear jewels. Red breast collar with stylized gold flowers and trim, emerald jewels and red-gold fringe. Clear jewel in bronze breast plate.

- Carousel horse. Part of the C.W. Parker Carousel on display at the Burnaby Village Museum. Name: "Our horse's name, Champion, reflects his "Hunter" design as well as commemorating VanCity's early role as a champion of the campaign to save the PNE Carousel." "Jumper" (semi-stargazer), back legs extended, front legs bent, erect neck, head and nose up and out, ears facing back, mouth open. Colour: Light Palomino, white blaze and socks. Trappings: Medium green stippled saddle edged in gold. Fish back of the cantle. Royal purple blanket with four yellow stars, edged in green and gold fringe. Royal purple breast collar edged in green, with gold breast plate shield medallion with yellow star on purple background. Green bridle with gold concho.

- Carousel horse. Part of the C.W. Parker Carousel on display at the Burnaby Village Museum, sponsored by Dorothy E. Wrigley and Cice Brown. Dorothy Wrigley explains "The arrival of our first grandchild was a joyful occasion for the Wrigley family but it was some time before the tiny baby girl received her name, Saralyn. In the meantime, she was referred to with much love as the little Guppy." (Dorothy Wrigley decided to sponsor a horse to commemorate the birth of her grandchild, and fellow-volunteer Cice Brown asked to be a co-sponsor for her grandchildren too.) "When I was thinking about sponsoring a horse to commemorate the birth of our granddaughter, Cice Brown expressed the wish to co-sponsor a horse for her several grandchildren and a wonderful idea sprang to mind...we decided to jointly sponsor this gentle "stargazer" and name it guppy for the joy of all grandchildren." "Prior to the miracle of birth, we are all like little 'guppies,' small fishes swimming around, growing and waiting to enter the merry-go-round of this complex world. Each one of us is someone's grandchild...may many guppies experience the joy of riding this carousel."

- The Official Opening of Heritage Village - Invitation -- [1971]. Invitation to the Official Opening Luncheon of the Heritage Village by His Excellency The Right Honourable Roland Michener, Governor-General of Canada along with the Mayor and Municipal Council of Burnaby. The invitation was addressed to "Mrs. M. Trainer & guest" for a civic luncheon at The Astor Motor Hotel on November 19th, 1971. At the top of the invitation is an illustration of a blue rhododendron flower and the British Columbia Centennial '71 logo. The invitation measures 18.5cm x 14.5cm.

- The invitation was issued to special guests to attend the official opening of Heritage Village (now the Burnaby Village Museum) in 1971, as well as a luncheon with the Governor General and his wife as special guests. This particular invitation was issued to Mary Trainer, who was the Centennial Co-ordinator charged with supporting the work of Burnaby's 1971 Centennial Committee, chaired by James Barrington. The Centennial Committee organized a variety of projects and events in 1971 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of British Columbia's entry into Confederation. The construction of the Heritage Village was their major project.

- Glass mug. Small clear glass commemorative mug with gold rim. "E II R" on front. On either side of lettering is a lion and a unicorn holding up a crown.
- Object History
- The coronation usually takes place several months after the death of the previous monarch, as it is considered a joyous occasion that would be inappropriate when mourning still continues. This also gives planners enough time to complete the elaborate arrangements required. Elizabeth II was crowned on June 2, 1953, despite having acceded to the throne on February 6, 1952, the instant her father died. British law states that the throne is not left 'vacant' and the new Monarch succeeds the old immediately.
