Collected by editorial for use in a June 2001 issue of the Burnaby NewsLeader
Caption from metadata: "Michael DesMazes sets up part of his collection of Canadian military hats from World War II at the annual Collectors' Weekend at Burnaby Village Museum. DesMazes says he started his collection about 15 years ago, and he now has 45 hats. The helmet he's holding would have been worn by an ordinary seaman on the HMCS Baddeck, a corvette on convoy escort duty in the North Atlantic."
