- Mourning bodice, c.1884-1889. Black satin silk. High neck with collar, buttons down front, long sleeves with cuffs, basque bodice especially flared in the back. The bodice is entirely black, and unadorned except for the buttons and cuffs. The centre front closure has sixteen black jet buttons with a pattern cut into each. At the ends of the somewhat fitted sleeves there are four inch turned back cuffs. At the high neck, there is a mandarin collar. Inside, the bodice is lined with brown cotton. Five bones are evenly spaced along the six back panels and two front panels, with two darts each. The back section of the bodice below the waistline is flared out to fit over a bustle.

- From the estate of Norah Byrne, daughter of Peter Byrne and Priscilla Amelia Rowling Rowling. She later married William Descoteau. Norah Byrne was born in 1896 and based on the era of the dress, it's possible that the dress originally belonged to her mother, Priscilla Amelia Rowling Byrne.

The form includes information on how to complete the form along with how to measure for the proper sized clothing. There are diagrams and illustrations given to show how to measure for men's clothing, women's clothing, hats, gloves, rings and children's clothing. Most of the form is a blank grid for orders to be filled in. Order forms were to be sent to Chicago. The form measures 21.5cm x 35cm.

- Evening dress, c.1930. Blue and pink shot acetate taffeta. Large puffed short sleeves, belt, peplum, long skirt. Quilting detail on sleeve ends, belt, and peplum. The dress has a relatively high V neckline. The sleeves are both pleated at the top of the cap, and very voluminous. Their short ends have ten quilted bands, and one small un-quilted section at the end. At the centre back of the bodice it is open to the waist, with a hook and eye at the very top of the neckline. At the bottom front, the bodice attaches in two pleats at either side of the centre front of the waistline. A flared peplum extends from the waist with twenty quilted bands. There is also a belt around the waist made up of five quilted bands. It attaches via a belt loop on either side of the waist and attaches to itself with two self fabric covered ball buttons and loops. The peplum closes at centre front with six of the same buttons and loops. The skirt that extends underneath has a centre front closure of three snaps. It has four gores and reaches floor length.

- Dress, c.1925-1929. Red cotton backed silk velvet. Straight draped cut, sleeveless, draped collar, knee length. Bag of scraps with dress on hanger. This dress is handmade, and even includes the leftover scraps. The neckline is a wide scoop in the back with five pin tucks. The shoulders are gathered in the front, and smooth in the back. The front neckline is a V shape, perhaps a lopsided V, depending on how the snap closure that has since come off the right side was positioned. The left side of the V neck has two pleats. There is no shaping at the waist, but the right side of the dress is gathered up to the left at dropped waist level, and fixed with a large rose decoration with a filigree and white jeweled broach. At the right seam, it is also gathered into several pleats, with an extended section that drapes down outside the right seam. The hem angles down to the right slightly. The right and left sides of the dress are left open except for the section gathered under the rose decoration, overlapping on the left side by several inches. The edges are faced with red silk chiffon.

- Dress, c. 1921-1925. Blue wool crepe dress without shaping. A pink scarf is attached to the collar, and there is a false undershirt. This dress is in the typical straight shape and mid-calf length of the first half of the 1920s. The subtle motif of three scallops in the skirt, lapel, ties, and cuffs is typical of the period's art deco design. The only shaping in the garment comes from tiny darts in the shoulders; a few pleats in the centre front as well as the loose fit of the garment allows the wearer to walk with ease. The collar is low and rolled, with pink silk forming the public side. The underside is of the same fabric as the dress. The collar extends on either side in long strips that can be used as a tie or scarf. The ties end in the scalloped pattern of three bumps. Lapels extend on the bodice to just below the bust area, with three gold metallic buttons on the left side. Under the lapel opening is a false undershirt in the same pink silk as the collar. It closes with snaps, under false ivory coloured buttons with a pinwheel design. About two inches below the spot where the lapels meet, there are also belt loops on either side of the dress to indicate a dropped waist, although there is no waist shaping. The belt is not present. Where the lapels come together, the line of the right lapel continues downward diagonally to the left front. It then returns to the centre in a scalloped diagonal pattern, and at each scallop a new pleat extends into the skirt. The sleeves are plain except for the cuffs, which repeat the scalloped pattern of the lapels and skirt. There is one gold metallic closure on each cuff. The skirt ends with a false hem, which is hand sewn. There are quite a few hand sewn finishes to keep the dress in place, especially with the false undershirt, but it is mainly machine sewn. The seams are finished with a serger.

- Bodice, c.1915. Black satin silk. Straight cut, gathered. Three quarter length sleeves, square neck, black embroidery, black and white glass beads, sash at waist. The bodice is cut straight, falling just past the natural waist, with volume added through pleats and gathers. At each front shoulder there are gathers, as well as along the bottom front. At the bottom back, there are pleats. The neckline is trimmed with embroidery in a leaf pattern, done in black floss. At the centre front it dips down in a square neckline, with a beaded panel starting at the bottom of the square. It is made up of back and white glass beads in a diamond pattern on a black net background. The panel is in a shield shape. The sleeves are loose fitting, with black floss embroidery around the cuffs in a looping pattern. At the bottom of the bodice there is a sash that covers the pleats and gathers, and extends on the left side where it may have been tied. The sash also closes with a snap, one on the sash ties and two more at the point where they close on the bodice. There are also snaps on the left shoulder. Inside, there is a black china silk lining that closes at the centre front with hooks and eyes.

- Evening dress, c.1910-1913. Black silk taffeta and sequined, beaded net. Square neckline, short sleeves, long flared skirt, high waistline, floor length hem. The entire dress is black, with a sequined and beaded net layer over a taffeta layer. The sequins and jet beads are black as well. At the centre front of the gown, there is an extensive, elaborate jet beaded applique that covers the small area from the neckline to the raised waist. The same type of beading hangs from the neckline on the bodice back. On either side there are sequins and beads, underneath a gathered net that extends to the shoulders. A triangular piece of beaded and sequined net is attached to this, and it all drapes over the tucked net sleeves which have net ruffles at the ends bordered by a line of beading. At the directoire waistline, there is a wide satin ruched sash. The skirt beneath is sequined and beaded in increasing density towards the hem. Underneath the net, the taffeta layer has four gores, and an added section at the hem. There are three layers at the hem: gathered chiffon, pleated taffeta hemmed with lace, and two layers of taffeta interlined with cotton to stiffen it and bound closed with twill tape. The bodice is lined with white cotton, with two bones on either side and five bones at the front. At each underarm there is a dress shield that reads "Best American Make / The Best / Kleinfeld / The Gem." There is a black patterned twill tape belt at the high waistline, attached at centre front, that closes with two hooks and eyes. The taffeta part of the dress closes at centre back with hooks and eyes on the bodice, and with snaps at the skirt. The net layer closes over top of that on the back left with snaps. The ruched waistline also closes at centre back with snaps.

- Dress, c.1925-1929. Brown velvet. Straight shape, dropped waist, long chiffon sleeves, knee length skirt, bronze coloured metal beads. A geometric beaded pattern encircles the wide round neckline. The sleeves, attached with a corded seam, are brown chiffon. They flare out into a bishop sleeve, gathered to a velvet cuff with diagonal strips of velvet decorating the forearm. The skirt attaches at a dropped waist with a corded seam. It is sewn in two panels, and slightly gathered. On the skirt there are two rings of a beaded design: lines of long beads interrupted by a large beaded butterfly with clear plastic purple beads on the antennas. The front and back both have a butterfly on the top right and bottom left. The hem is held up on the inside with the bottom line of beading.

- Net dress, c.1918-1920. Black sequined net, with side zipper. Cap sleeves, natural waist, V neck, flared skirt, calf length. The dress is entirely made of black net decorated with sequins, likely meant to go over another garment. The sleeves and skirt are attached in separate pieces, with several darts at the centre back of the skirt for shaping. The sequins are arranged in a geometric border pattern around the neck and down the centre front of the bodice to a front yoke pattern. The rest of the bodice has small circular clusters of sequins. On the skirt, There are dense abstract designs in sequins.

- Bodice, c.1895. Black patterned china silk with green, pink, and gold flowers. Huge leg o' mutton sleeves gather into small black velvet cuffs. Slightly puffed front, peplum. At the small round neckline, there is a small half inch stand collar. The centre front of the bodice is gathered at the neckline and at the waist. Beneath the waist, there is a peplum with most of its flare in the back. The rest of the bodice is unadorned, as the sleeves are really the main focus. The sleeves are cartridge pleated around the top of the armscye. The lightweight fabric and internal supports make each shoulder puff out to roughly the size of a watermelon. They taper slightly to the cuff (where they are gathered), but most of the volume remains for the whole sleeve. The black velvet cuffs have a flower on the outside, but no opening. Inside, the bodice is lined with brown cotton, and nine bones. The peplum is lined with gold a silk floral brocade. The bodice has hook and eye closures up the centre front.

- Bodice, c.1890s. Brown silk and cotton bengaline. Long fitted sleeves with small shoulder puff, burnt out brown velvet cuffs, basque cut, tails in back. This bodice has a very closely fitting neck, but no collar. The sleeves are close fitting except for a small puff on the shoulders: a shadow of the gargantuan puffed sleeves that dominated the 1890s. The cuffs are made with a burnt out silk, a velvet paisley pattern on a gold silk background. The front of the bodice is undecorated, but there are loose threads from decoration that was once tacked on either side of the centre front opening. At the back, the four back panels extend independently from the end of the bodice to form tails with square ends. Inside, the bodice is lined with beige patterned cotton: white tulips under a pattern of squares formed with alternating blue and red dotted lines. There are seven bones and a blue and white striped belt at the waist that closes with a hook and eye. The centre front of the bodice used to close with buttons, but they have been removed.
