- British Columbia Corrections Service peaked hat. The hat is a summer style. It has black open- weave sides with a black peak, the hat fabric is khaki coloured. There is a brass hat badge with the BC Provincial crest. There is a black chin strap that rests on the top of the peak. Each end is held in place by a silver button with an embossed crown on it. The lining is red and the makers label is inside.

'Fairy' six emblem over right breast pocket and 'Golden Hand' and 'Golden Bar' over left breast pocket. "46th BURNABY" stripe and two brown 'Sixer Stripes' sewn to left sleeve. Badges sewn vertically on right sleeve include: Needlework (scissors), Housekeeper (broom), Thrift (bee) and Knitter (wool & knitting needles).

Initials "C. C." are hand-stitched in red inside the collar (likely stands for Carmen Cooper, whose full name is written inside both the uniform hat and belt). Metal 5 year star on green felt and single year star on green felt, both pinned to left brest pocket flap. Three (3) light-coloured twill stripes sewn to front of left breast pocket. "23rd Vancouver Co." stripe and “SOUTH BURNABY” stripe sewn to left sleeve. Badges sewn vertically on left sleeve include: Second Class (green trefoil with star in top leaf) and Childcare (green cross). Badges sewn horizontally on right sleeve include: Laundress (green iron) and Hostess (green cup and saucer).

Wings (Brownie) sewn above left pocket. 2 year star with brown felt backing pinned to left pocket flap. Salvation Army Badge sewn on left pocket front. Three white stripes of adhesive cloth tape applied vertically to the front of the left breast pocket. Two B.C. Provincial Hat badges are pinned to the left collar point (these would not normally be worn on the uniform itself). Religion in Life badge (yellow alpha & omega symbols) sewn above right breast pocket.
