- This doll has a china head, hands and feet with fabric body. The neck collar has been broken in the past and there is a crack in the neck of the doll. the dolls head is roughly 7.5 cm in diameter. The glaze is in flesh tones with brown hair and a pink ribbon in the hair. The glaze is worn on the proper left cheek and at the back of the head. The arms and hands and shins and shoes are porcelain. The costume is a pink gingham over skirt on top of a blue gingham ankle length skirt. A knitted blue cape covers both. The doll is also wearing a slip and pantaloons.
- Object History
- Doll named "Lily" who belonged to Muriel (nee McLennan) Allinger. Muriel was born to William and Margaret McLennan in 1915 in BC. The family moved to Capitol Hill in 1919 and the doll was given as a Christmas present the year before. The china head was purchased at Miller and Coe on Hastings Street, in Vancouver in 1918. Muriel's mother made the first body and the first clothing.

Yellow label sealing one end of package has company name and company logo of dragon and horse. Individual bottles were originally packaged together in brown paper and tied with string.

Watson Group, which started as the Canton Dispensary and Soda Water Establishment, founded in 1828 as a small dispensary, with the mission to provide free medical services to the poor people of the Southern Chinese province of Guangdong (also known as Canton). Guangdong (a province), is Huazhou (a city), Deshengtang (name of a shop), selected, correct or positive, typical, treasure, mountain, orange, red; medicine. This pill is made of many unidentified components. "White turbidity," refers to whitish and cloudy urine. "White turbidity" is a symptom of tiredness, deficiency in kidney qi, and alcohol abuse leading to spleen and stomach disorders. - Publication "Commodities Catalogue", was part of a scrapbook created by Cecil Chue Kan Lee documenting the time he was employed as a Prodcue Buyer for Kelly Douglas and Company Limited and Western Commodities Limited in the 1970s and early 1980s. As a produce buyer for Kelly Douglas, Cecil Lee worked closely with local farmers along Marine Drive and in the Fraser Valley. The Burnaby company was one of the largest food distributors in Canada. In the mid-1970s, Lee was asked to oversee the import of Chinese mandarin oranges into Canada. Until that time, mandarin oranges had come from Japan and were sold in the winter, especially at Christmas. When the Japanese market could no longer keep up with demand, Kelly Douglas looked to China. The company relied on Lee’s cultural knowledge to build this very profitable part of their business.

- Souvenir plate. Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of St. Stephen the Martyr, Anglican Church. It is a white ceramic plate with a gold edge. An image of the church is in the centre of the plate. The makers logo is on the bottom of the plate. "The Anglican Church of St. Stephen the Martyr / Burnaby, B.C. / 1913 - 1988"printed on the face of the plate in gothic letters. "DECORATED IN CANADA / 22 K GOLD / CAN. ART CHINA / COLLINGWOOD, ONT." text is printed in gold over and around a maple leaf logo.
