History
George Searby Buxton (1867-1955) was born in England and was a carpenter by trade. He married Mary Isabel Nattriss (1866-1941), a teacher, and moved to Canada in 1911. In 1912, George built an arts and crafts style home in Burnaby which remains as one of the City's heritage buildings to this day.
