Photograph of the demolition of the Bonsor Recreation Centre taken in August 1987. Caption on original matte read: "Bonsor Recreation Centre being demolished in August, 1987. As both portions of the building had been moved to Bonsor from their original sites, and considerable interior renovations had been made to both buildings, it was deemed by municipal officials that the historical significance of maintaining the buildings was not justifiable. Hence the buildings were destroyed to make way for the new, modern 'Bonsor Recreation Complex'.".
