Description: Souvenir teaspoon from the 1984 BC Summer Games held in Burnaby.; The spoon is metal with a silver finish. At the top of the handle there is a small emblem surrounded by a fillagree design. The emblem has a green background with a gold illustrated bee mascot wearing a crown and holding a torch.; The handle of the spoon has a cross-hatch design.

Object History: This spoon was collected by Donald "Don" N. Brown. Don was involved with the Burnaby Historical Society activities and textual records pertaining to his career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. he donated many photographs to the City of Burnaby Archives because of his involvement with various community groups including the Oakalla Lands Citizens' Committee, renovations of Burnaby Village Museum, and the restoration of Interurban Tram no. 1223.
