- Transportation Division - Program -- [1950]. Program for the August 6th, 1950 B.C.E.R. and B.C.M.T. picnic for the Transportation Division, All Departments. The picnic was planned at Confederation Park in North Burnaby and started at 11am. The program included the Time of Events along with the Athletic Events of the day. The picnic also advertised Shetland Pony Riding, Favours for the Children, Wading Pool and Playground, and a Rube Band. The back page of the program lists the people involved in the Picnic Committees. Attached to the program with two staples is a newspaper clipping that covered the days events, including mention of "Punch and Judy" which was a puppet show performed by C.Caunt. The program measures 14cm x 21.5cm.

- B.C.E.R. tram number roll mounted within a steel metal frame which is painted green inside and on the sides and black on the front. Two canvas rollers mounted side by side with white painted numbers. Each roller is mounted to the metal stand with two cylindrical pins with finger wheels at the top. There are four wheels at the top for changing the number display. The metal frame has two flanges at the bottom with holes for mounting on the top front of a streetcar.
- Object History
- Item used on the PCC streetcars. These reference numbers followed the trains as they took the train out of the barn for the day, in the case of an accident or other tracking reason.

- Flags or signal lamps on the front of the tram communicated information about the train to passengers and workers. Two white flags (or white lights at night) on the front indicated that the tram was a “special” (not a regularly scheduled train).

- signal flag; BCER tram "special" running flag. White signal flag on short wooden pole. The pole is tapered at the bottom end. The flag is attached to the pole via a vertical slit in the pole. Four screws pass through the pole, flag and slit. The pole fits in a socket on the front of the tram car. Used to indicate an unscheduled, special run, usually a lacrosse game or race track run. - Donor purchased these items at an antique fair. The dealer had acquired them from the family of a BCER employee who was part of the crew that destroyed the trams when they were decommissioned.

- Storage box. Wooden box with slanting top, hinged to open upwards. Lid closes with a clasp. Box is painted black on the outside and is unfinished on the inside and bottom. The box is made from 3/4 inch thick boards. There are two rings at the back edge of the top.
- Object History
- Collected by Raymond Menah when the Central Park British Columbia Electric Railway Interurban Tram line was shut down in late 1950's. It appears that the box was designed to hang on a wall.
