- Margaret Pearl Naismith (1887-1970) married Alexander "Allie" MacPherson Cowan (1881-1963) in 1910 in Kamloops BC. Alexander was the son of Walter Scott Cowan (1843-1930) and Annie McPherson (1859-1935), who lived in Burnaby on Douglas Road.
