Edmond Leong grew up on Chinese farms at the
xWməθkwəyəm (Musqueam) reserve along with his
family and relatives. His father See Quin Leong
established Quin On farm in Burnaby’s Big Bend area
in 1966. Edmond took over his father’s farm in 1979
and named it Leong’s Nursery, where he continues
to work today
