The photographs document the original state of the house while it was still located at 7651 Cumberland Street; steps taken to prepare the house for transport; transport of the house through Burnaby to the museum site; construction of a foundation; exterior and interior restoration work; conservation of original architectural elements and artifacts; furnishing and designing of the interior exhibits; repairs and maintenance and the final opening. Photographs were taken by Jim Wolf, Elisabeth Czerwinski, Gerry Papan, Lisa Langlet, Colin Stevens and Evelyn Salisbury. Records are described at file and item level.
