The parade of vehicles started by driving by Chartwell Carlton Care Residence and onto Burnaby General Hospital, Adanac Park Lodge, Taylor Manor and Fellburn Care Centre. A group of people are gathered on the sidewalk, ringing bells and holding red hearts.

To the left of the entrance is a modified house building with a sign advertising for Fraser Valley ice cream placed outside the extended patio. The Oasis Tourist Camp was located at 2675 Kingsway (after 1959 address became 6105 Kingsway) in Burnaby and was owned and operated by the Raymer family.

- Dragon Inn belonged to the Lee family. The Dragon Inn restaurant was located at at 4510 Kingsway, on the corner of Kingsway and Willingdon Avenue (opened in the 1970s) and later at Hastings Street near Willingdon (opened in the 1990s). The Dragon Inn was known for its exterior neon sign which was removed in 1997.
