They will be informed that the Board appreciate their enterprise on behalf of the children but regret it is against the policy of the Board to allow such collections."

Memorial services for those who died in the Great War were held at the Municipal Hall and the Memorial Hall, Royal Oak. Shown in this photograph is Reeve Bennett (Vancouver) addressing the crowd.
