During the book launch event, Lisa Codd provides an overview of the history of Burnaby schools using six photographs from the book. Janet White shares ancedotes and stories from her and other co-authors experiences at Burnaby schools.

Publication of the book was supported by the City of Burnaby Heritage Commission, the Burnaby Board of Education and the B.C. Retired Teachers Association Heritage Committee.
