Description
Family First Aid - Instructional Wheel. Two cardboard disks which rotate to reveal various first aid instruction for various ailments from Sun Stroke, Cuts, Burns and Gun Shots. The smaller inside disk is red with "FAMILY FIRST AID" written across the top. The instructional wheel was distributed by McKay Drugs at 4038 Kingsway, New Westminster. Although the wheel states that the pharmacy was in New Westminster, the address is actually in Burnaby. Wm. W. Saxton was the Pharmacist at the time of distribution. The wheel measures 15.5cm across.

envelope; Jubilee Drug Store [192-?]. Film developing envelope from the Jubilee Drug Store. The envelope is made out to Miss. Perry for one roll of film to be developed in glossy prints. Printed text in black ink on back of envelope reads: "$1.00 / MAKES YOU A MEMBER / of our / LENDING LIBRARY / Change of Book 10c. / LARGE SELECTION OF BOOKS".
Object History
From John Edward Perry, son of George Douglas Perry (1891-1979) and Katie Rist (1893-1979), who lived on Frederick Avenue in Burnaby.

pamphlet; for Sunset fabric dye titled "THE / SEASON'S COLORS / SPRING AND SUMMER / 1925". The pamphlet lists the popular colors of the seasons and which dyes and measurements would be needed to create the colors. Inside the pamphlet are more colours that can be created with Sunset dyes. The back of the pamphlet is stamped with "WOODWARDS LTD. / Drug Dept."

postcard; color lithographed scene of Second Avenue in Seattle, Washington. A sign says "The Gateway to Alaska, Seattle, Washington". There are trams and people in Edwardian clothes on the street, there's a horse and buggy and cars on the road. The back of the postcard addressed to Miss M. George. Postcard published by Trattner Post Card Co., Seattle, Washington. Cancelled in Seattle, Washington, Terminal Station on July 25, 1917 at 10am. "Rainier National Park opens June 15". Postcard addressed to "Miss M. George / c/o National Drug / Vancouver / B.C." Handwritten in ink: "July 23 / Dear Miss George: Am sure in some lively place, not like N.V. Will see you again before long. / Budd"
Object History
Wilhelmina (Mina) George was the second female pharmacist in BC and ran the West Burnaby Pharmacy.
Elsie Impett (later MacDonald) was born in 1902 in England. Her family setted at Fenwick Avenue, Burnaby. She worked as a clerk and married James MacDonald in 1923 in New Westminster.

retail display cabinet or dispensing cabinet; wood slat construction (1/4 in. or 063 cm) with paper product labeling over top. Paper product labelling is in colour. Six drawers with small metal pull-rings. Original labeling appears to be for "Bauer & Black" brands of plasters and dressings, but other labels have been placed over the orginal markings in some places.
