- Bicycle, delivery boy's style, made by Birmingham Small Arms Co., ( B.S.A. ) of England, manufactured circa 1921. The frame is black with paint chipped off in places. There is black tape around crossbar. The rear, bottom of the back fender is painted white and has a small reflector mounted on it. The seat is supported by two springs. "BSA" is part of the ornamental metal work of the chain wheel; tires are rather flat at bottom.

- The donor acquired the bicycle when she purchased Robertson Hardware Ltd, 4052 East Hastings, in Burnaby. This bicycle was used in Burnaby.

- One pair of metal roller skates with four wheels that strap onto shoes. The main part of the skate is designed to hold the ball of the foot and toes, and has two metal clips to hold the foot in place. There are four rectangular raised metal pieces, and two circular pieces on the skate. The circular pieces are loosed with a key to make the skate fit various sized shoes. The leather straps have a metal buckle to secure the foot. Two metal skate keys are strung to a neon yelllow shoe lace, to adjust the skates. They also have a black metal wrench.

- Button pin, round, buff ground with wide brownish red border and green print. Around edge from left, "JULY / AUG / SEPT". Logo below 'AUG', illegible, "LI--HA" ?, then "1920". At bottom is brownish red dot at centre of "U.B.M.W.E.R.S.L." in circle. Pin is paper formed over a metal back and held in place by pressure. Clear coating over front. Back is dark metal with remains of pin clasp closure ?, coil of wire one side, lighter-coloured patch of metal around opening other side. Back is hollow. Manufacturer's stamp, mostly illegible, "--- CO" "--H.N.Y." and hallmark ?. Metal of back is tarnished, some scratches and wear on front.

- Union dues button for the United Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees and Railroad Shop Laborers which was affiliated with the American Federation of Labour. - Cylindrical, silver and bronze-coloured, metal vaporizer with circular base. Base features decorative, openwork sides; two open handles; and a rounded opening on one side. Interior contains a raised opening for oil, with a metal screw lid. Rounded shoulder of the base connects to a long, metal tube, attached at an angle and open at the end. Front, right side of the base has an oval-shaped, bronze-coloured, metal label attached, embossed with text and images. Possibly used as a portable Turkish bath or as a bronchitis kettle.

- Beading machine. Metal handle with gears which roll together. Vice at bottom to attach to table. "The Brown boggs Co. Limited Makers, Hamilton , Ontario" Has three sets of beading dies (three pairs) single bead, triple bead and ogee.

- Tinsmith's turning machine. Designed to turn a burred edge on a piece of sheet metal. The base clamps on to a bench and the machine head is secured to the base by a set screw. A hand crank turns two forming wheels which shape the metal between them.

- Object History
- Belt belonged to Dorothy Pitman who was a Girl Guide in the 1st Burnaby Company. She was known to be involved with guiding from 1919 to 1931. Textual records and photographs of the Pitman family, including one of Dorothy and her sister Gwen, are held by the City of Burnaby Archives. Dorothy and Gwen's parents, Ernest and Jean Pitman, owned McKay Dry Goods and Jubilee Dry Goods.

- Object History
- Note from donor: Grace Young (married name Dawkins) was patrol leader for the 1st Vancouver Girl Guide Co. from Christ Church Cathedral. Phyllis Mortimer was her second. Phyllis Mortimer later joint the Vancouver Police Department, where she served with Graces' husband, Albert Clayton Dawkins. Grace and Albert married in 1936 at St. Nicholas Church in Burnaby. Grace was the person who suggested the name Burnaby Royal Area when the Girl Guides were looking for a new name for that area.
