- Object History
- Postcard from the Golden Dragon Resturant which served Chinese-Canadian food. Their grand opening was September 2, 1950. The community staple was known for its neon dragon sign that advertised “Chop Suey”. One side of the kitchen served Chinese foods, while another served Canadian dishes. Chinese cuisine such as rice would be served with chopsticks, while steaks, a more western dish, would be served with knife and fork. Advertisements from the resturant and meeting notices were found in local newspapers from 1950 to 1957. The establishment was not listed in the 1966 Great Vancouver Cross-Cross Directory.

- This programme is a blue 8.5 x 11 folded sheet with black print. The front page shares the details of the play called "The Hidden Guest" presented by The Unity Club and performed by the Edmonds Baptist Young People's Union. It took place at the Edmonds Public Hall on Friday April 26, 1929 at 8:15pm. The Edmonds BYPU Orchestra is listed on the front also. The second and fourth pages are non-illustrated advertisements for local businesses. Page three lists the cast character name and given name, in order of appearance.

There are two tendrils of ribbon framing either side of the flower in an "S" shape. One end of the ribbon is cut like the end of a snake's tongue. At the top, a large flower follows the curled line. the line conitnues out of the centre of the flower and splits into two leafy tendrils. One of the leaves has a thick gold curl coming from it. The tile has a wiggled split in the top quarter of the tile, bisecting the large flower.

There is a large brown circular stain and lots of gray stains, the colour of dry wall putty. The tile has a clean diagonal split across the centre right near to where the ribbon attaches to the gold curl. The bottom corner is missing with another clean diagonal split, and small triangular piece missing along the largest split.
