The booklet is from the Singer Sewing Library - No. 1. The front cover of the booklet has an illustration of two women, one sitting in front of the Singer Sewing Machine, the other standing above looking at the machine. Handwritten on the front cover is "F.A. Gray". On the back cover is an illustration of the globe with a large red "S" in the middle. The cost of the pamphlet was 5 cents and the Beehive Aladdin Sock was produced by Patons & Baldwins Limited, Toronto. The inside of the leaflet gives directions on how to replace the heel of a sock. The back cover makes reference to the producing knitted goods for soldiers in the army.
