- Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) 2nd place prize ribbon in Creative Crafts; won by John Slawson in Augush 1988 for a doll house complete with furniture. The ribbon is arrow-shaped, pointed at the top and notched at the bottom. It has two layers of ribbon. The back layer is a white ribbon. The front layer is a red ribbon, with text in gold reading: "PNE / Creative / Crafts / SECOND / PACIFIC / NATIONAL / EXHIBITION / VANCOUVER / CANADA".
- Object History
- Donor's father built the dollhouse in the 1980's after he retired from teaching. His hand-made home, furniture, and accessories won him 2nd prize in his age category at the 1988 PNE Creative Crafts competition.

- Object originated with the Burnaby Lawn Bowling Club. 1939 winner Mrs. G. Jeffery was likely Harriet (Philpot) Jeffery, wife of George Jeffery. 1941 winner Mrs. W. Poole was likely Mabel Annie (Conway) Poole, wife of William Poole. Their son, Albert "Bert" William Poole, was married to Patricia "Trixie" (Jeffery) Poole, daughter of Harriet and George Jeffery. 1945 winners Mrs. S. Swan and Mrs. A. Digney were likely Constance "Connie" (Bates) Swan, wife of Sydney Swan, and Alice (Swan) Digney. Sydney was Alice's brother. Film footage of the Swans' and Digney's can be seen in accession BV019.18.

- Object History
- Object originated with the Burnaby Lawn Bowling Club. The "Bowser Rink" presenting the trophy refers to Kerrisdale resident Francis "Frank" Bowser. He was a member of the Kerrisdale Lawn Bowling Club, ca. 1918, and was elected President of the Lower Mainland Lawn Bowling Association in 1919. Francis "Frank" Bowser (1857-1929) came to Vancouver around 1885 and went to work with Dominion Customs, retiring in 1908 as chief landing waiter. He was elected reeve of Point Grey in 1912 and served two terms in office. His brother was former B.C. premier W.J. Bowser. (see Obituary in The Vancouver Sun - 26 Sep 1929).

- Toll Bridge Tickets - Tickets. Four connected tickets for crossing the Second Narrows Bridge. The tickets are green with a small drawing of the bridge on them. On the top of each ticket is "00191" The tickets were produced by the Vancouver Harbour Commissioners.
- Object History
- From Denby Bros. Shoe Store at 163 West Pender in Vancouver. Stafford Ague Denby (1882-1957) started peddling shoe findings in 1918 around Vancouver to repair shops around town from the back of an old Ford. Two of his brothers, William Albert (1873-1947) and Melvin Stanley (1879-1953) joined him in 1919 to form Denby Bros & Co. Ltd Leather and Shoe Findings at 163 West Pender. William Gordon Pope started helping out in the shoe store at the age of 10. He eventually ran the store with his cousin, Pat Denby (son of William A. Denby) starting in the 1950s. The store closed in 1974.
