Scope and Content: Photograph of Betty Forbes standing behind the counter in the General Store exhibit on the opening day of the Heritage Village (now Burnaby Village Museum). Betty is wearing a period costume featuring a purple ruffled blouse with brooch, and a hat with ostrich feathers. She is talking with a female visitor in the photograph.

History: Donor was a volunteer with the Burnaby Village Museum for years and was in attendance on the day the Heritage Village Museum opened.
