Men, women and children are seen marching with banners held high interspersed with a marching band with bagpipes. Some of the banners are identified as; The Communist Party of Canada, the Scandinavian Worker's Club, Lumber and Sawmill Workers Union, Ex-Servicemen's League, Canadian League Against War and Fascism, Fishermen's Legislative Program, Sailor's Union, B.C. Maritime Workers, Amalgamated Building Workers Union, Bakery and Confectionary Workers International Union of America and The Women's Labour League. Some of the banners in the parade read as follows; 'Support the White Lunch Strike', 'Abolish Deferred Pay', 'Builders of British Columbia- Bill Bennett', 'Communist Party of Canada', 'Free Grange and Molland'.

- Photograph of the Burnaby Historical Society float in the Pacific National Exhibition's parade on Hastings Street. The float is decorated as Interurban Tram no. 1223. Written on the tram roof is, XXX"Burnaby Historical Society," on the side is "The Last Tram," and on the back is "Burnaby / 1223." Behind the float are two men seated in an old car with a sign reading, "The Hydro Originals" on the side. The stores that can be seen are: Bank of Montreal, Royal Bank of Canada, Ward Music, Hans Grumme Hairstylists, Susie Wong Fashions, and Canadian Pacific Telegrams. A bus stop sign for Main, Hastings, unidentified, Oak, and Victoria buses can also be seen.

Note the paper mache beaver pulling the throne. The event was held on July 2, 1927 with a parade from the Municipal Hall at Edmonds along Kingsway to Central Park. Memorial services for those who died in the Great War were held at the Municipal Hall and the Memorial Hall, on Royal Oak.
