- File consists of images and selected contents from a scrapbook with 38 double sided pages containing mostly photographs with some newspaper clippings, written material and emphemera including a page of badges and ribbons which reads "Enrolment & Membership Card of / Joan Bailey 1926 / 1st Burnaby" and an embroidered alphabet of the Morse Code. The third page of the scrapbook includes a four page chronology titled "History of Guiding - Burnaby / 1913 - 1960" compiled by Mrs. Dolly Weber, Mrs. J. Heaps, Miss Eileen Periton, Mrs. J. Albertson and D. Fowler. The scrapbook also includes an original letter and post-script from Lady Olave Baden-Powell to Mrs. Fowler dated November 5, 1961; a typewritten copy of: "TSOONA" / PROVINCIAL GUIDE CAMPSITE - ROSEDALE B.C." and a three page typewritten copy of "THE CAMPFIRE / Volume 1, No. 4 _ November 1935 _ Vancouver, B.C.". - File consists of a typewritten history of the Burnaby North Trefoil Guild written by Eleanor Galbraith on February 1, 1999 along with her membership card, six pages of membership lists (February 1987, January 3, 1998, November 8, 1998, March 2000, January 2001 and November 2001) and a letter from Girl Guides of Canada to Eleanor Galbraith re: criminal record check. The first meeting of the Burnaby North Trefoil Guild was held at Eleanor Galbraith's home at 3950 Eton Street on February 18, 1987. The first president of the guild was Mary Montemurro with Donna Miller as Secretary and Eleanor Galbraith as treasurer. Meetings were first held at members homes and later at Willingdon Community Centre and Lochdale Hall. Members have held social events such as Christmas parties, picnics and outings on Burnaby Mountain as well as fundraising events and helping out at different Girl Guide activities.

- File consists of photographs, an illustration, ephemera and histories about Burnaby Guiding Camps including Burnaby Chalet on Cypress Mountain, Galalina Camp at Camp Olave near Sechelt B.C., Burnaby Guide Camp at Wilson Creek and a few postcards of Camp Tsoona, Rosedale B.C. A collection of written material provides historical background regarding the two storey cabin on Hollyburn Mountain. The cabin was purchased by Burnaby Girl Guides in 1964 and appropriately named Burnaby Chalet. A Chalet Committee was formed with representatives from each Division appointing a Chalet Manageress to handle reservations. This typical ski cabin can accomodate up to 40 people. The file also includes a "Campsite Log Book" for the Hollyburn Chalet with handwritten notes from 1981 and 1982, an embroidered triangular shaped badge "Burnaby Royal / Girl Guides / Hollyburn Chalet" and a dedication ceremony program for "Burnaby Guide Camp / June 8, 1958" (Wilson Creek).

- File consists of images of a scrapbook that was created by Eleanor Galbraith during her involvement with the Burnaby Heights Division of Girl Guides. Records that were retained include: 123 "Long Service Certificate(s)" awarded to Eleanor Galbraith (Feb. 10, 1965; March 4, 1986); a letter in recognition and receipt of an award for "50 Years of Service" (April 5, 2005); a "9th Annual Meeting" programme hosted by Burnaby Imperial Division; a warrant card for Miss Eleanor Galbraith of 12th Burnaby Company; a Girl Guides of Canada warrant for Miss Eleanor Galbraith to act as "District Commissioner" (September 28, 1965); an Appointment Warrant card for Miss Eleanor Galbraith for authorization to act as "Deputy Division / Commissioner of Burnaby Heights / B.C. Council" and letter of congratulations; a thank you letter to Eleanor Galbraith from Guiders of Vancouver Heights District for faithful years of leadership; two warrants from Girl Guides of Canada to Miss Eleanor Galbraith to act as Deputy Division Commissioner - Burnaby Heights Division (October 24, 1967 and January 29, 1969) ; an appointment card to Miss Eleanor Galbraith to act as the Commissoner of Burnaby Heights Division and three clipped obituaries for Kathleen Hebron (nee Billingham), Eleanor Holvick (nee Bruce) and Mr.s Jim (Doris) Fowler.

These notes were taken during telephone and in person interviews between Lisa Langlet (or Jim Wolf) and members of the Love family including: Albert Parker; Esther Stanley (nee Love); Leonard Love; Mrs. Bill Parker; Annie Chamberlain (nee McKenzie); Ruth Boruck (nee Love); Elsie Hughes (nee Parker) and Gordon Love. Notes include information about growing up and living in the house on Cumberland Street. This information was used by the curator to assist in designing the exhibits within the farmhouse. Information in these interviews was broken down into references to rooms within the house, gardens, outbuildings and activities at home.

Book 1 includes photographs documenting: Items of furniture and artifacts from the Love family, Burnaby Village Museum and Mathers house to be considered for furnishing the Love family farmhouse; items purchased and considered for purchase from various collectors and suppliers of antiques; items donated for interior of house including a kitchen sink and water tank; original fixtures, mouldings, doors, walls, paint treatments (paint history), damages to structure and sufaces within the house; before and after restoration of furnishings; new paint treatments to kitchen; construction of sidewalks and a wheelchair ramp outside of the house; garden in late fall; installation of new kitchen stove and other artifacts, furnishings and fixtures within kitchen; opening day with Gordon Love and family as the first visitors to the house (only kitchen is open); exterior veiws of the grounds around the house and interior areas due to flooding in mid December 1997; restoration views of the parlour, dining room and downstairs bedroom including old wallpaper, tongue and groove walls with layers of paint, baseboards and original layers of flooring; the garden expansion in Spring 1998; tin ceilings in parlour and front hall and a photograph of Mrs.Richard Whiting, her daughter Betty, son in law and grandaughter.
