Also included are newsclippings regarding Robert Burnaby and the "Bygones of Burnaby" book, a programme of the Robert Burnaby Commemorative Dinner, a photocopy of "The Argus" (Burnaby South High School's newspaper) from 1938, a programme from Madys Pridmore Brown's Variety Programme, "The Buzzer" Volume 40 Issue 16 advertising Vancouver street cars, New Vista Society certificate addressed to Hazel Simnett, an envelope of Fenwick Lansdowne bird prints from 1957 and a print of the Royal Family found in a cardboard envelope postmarked 1972.

- File consists of images and selected contents from a scrapbook with 38 double sided pages containing mostly photographs with some newspaper clippings, written material and emphemera including a page of badges and ribbons which reads "Enrolment & Membership Card of / Joan Bailey 1926 / 1st Burnaby" and an embroidered alphabet of the Morse Code. The third page of the scrapbook includes a four page chronology titled "History of Guiding - Burnaby / 1913 - 1960" compiled by Mrs. Dolly Weber, Mrs. J. Heaps, Miss Eileen Periton, Mrs. J. Albertson and D. Fowler. - File consists of a scrapbook with a handpainted wood cover titled "50th Anniversary / G.G.C". The scrapbook documents events and ceremonies of the 4th Guide Company with the first half of the scrapbook containing photographs and documents regarding the 50th Anniversary of Girl Guides which was celebrated at St. Nicholas Church in 1960 while the second half documents earlier events from 1926, as well as other events in the 1960s such as; "Year of the Golden Jubilee", a parade in North Burnaby as well as Thinking Day 1976-1978, banquets, a disco contest, camping on Hollyburn mountain and a visit to Victoria in 1979. On November 3rd, 1926 the company was registered as the 5th Burnaby Guide company, in 1951 the number was changed to the 4th Vancouver Guide Company and in 1956 the number was changed to the 4th Burnaby Company.

In 1913 Amy Leigh moved to Burnaby from England and enquired about a Guiding company in her area and was disappointed to find none. In 1914 at the age of 17 years, Amy registered the 1st Burnaby Company and became the captain. By 1924, Burnaby had four Guide companies, four Brownie Packs and a Ranger Company. In this year, Amy was chosen as the official Guider representative from British Columbia to the World Camp at Foxlease, Hampshire, England. From 1926 to 1928 Amy was District Commissioner for Burnaby. In 1931, Amy organized and became the first District Commissioner for North Burnaby.

Paulene Hall was Burnaby Royal Area's 5th Area Commissioner from 1989 -1992 and began her Guiding life as a young member in Prince George earning her Gold Cord (at this time, she was the youngest recipient in Canada at 14 years of age). Paulene Hall began her adult life in Guiding in Burnaby in 1976 as a Brown Owl in the 18th Burnaby Pack in Hycrest District and continued her involvement in the Burnaby Royal Area holding positions on various committees and councils including being a Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner at District, Division and Area Levels. She also served on several Provincial and National committees, was president of the Burnaby North Trefoil Guild and received a Life Membership from Burnaby Royal Area in 1998.
