Ray Fleming is identified second from right in the front row sitting next to the trophy with a basket ball balanced on top with the words "BNHS / Jr. Champs / 1929" painted on it. Other team members include J.Gemmel, W. Auld, D. Wright, F. Parker and A. Lawson. The team beat out Duke of Connaught High School of New Westminster in the championship game, 10-8 as the final score.
