In 1974, this memorial was relocated from its original setting to the site of the Burnaby Village Museum on Deer Lake Avenue.

In 1974, this memorial was relocated from its original setting to the site of the Burnaby Village Museum on Deer Lake Avenue.

In 1922, Bateman and his second wife, May Dale Bateman built a house that they named "Elworth". The house is located at 6501 Deer Lake Avenue and was designated as a heritage property in 1992.
