- Archie Miller was born in 1946 in New Westminster, BC into a family of commercial fishers. He served as the curator of the New Westminster musuem Irving House until his retirement in 1999. He authored "Irving House, a family history" with museum assistant Valerie Francis in 1988. Since retiring, Archie conducts local historical research and writes about BC with his wife, Dale.
