- Photograph of Maurice (Maury) Whitechurch standing at the door of Whitechurch Hardware Store with his mother in-law's springer spaniel, Peggy. Whitechurch Hardware was located at 1316 Sixth Street (later, 7685 Sixth Street) and in operation between 1937 and 1973. The building formerly housed Bell's Dry Goods store until 1937 (with address 1314 Sixth Street) when it was moved slightly north to make room for a two storey building that was built on the corner, maintaining the address of 1314 Sixth Street. In 1974, this building was relocated to Burnaby Village Museum and restored to the former Bell's Dry Goods store.

- Photograph of a wicker chair in a room inside Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee & Co., 1620 Government Street, Victoria. The chair has a bag and a jacket on the seat and some crumpled paper in the arm rest. To the left of this wicker chair is a desk with some pouch envelopes or folders on top of it. Behind and above this wicker chair is a kind of netting resembling large paper clips which holds a sheet of paper or folder. Another dark col., wooden chair sits behind the wicker chair against a wainscoting wall. Above this wooden chair hangs a calendar of the Imperial Bank of Canada with some hooks above it. A long handle broom rests behind the chair. The two chairs appears to be separated by a dividing wall with a sliding pocket door.

- William Arthur Crute (1889-1977) was trained as a carpenter and worked alongside William Dodson on the interior carpentry construction of the Bateman family house "Elworth". The heritage house now forms part of the Burnaby Village Museum. Arthur Crute was present for the opening of Heritage Village (now Burnaby Village Museum) in November 1971.
