The individual information of several people bearing the surname Applegate are included as potential paternal relatives, as well as that of Gertrude Francis Pearce, Ran's biological mother. Also included are handwritten notes taken by Ran when he met his biological mother (for the first time?) in Fredericton during a Reeves and Mayors convention, and telegrams sent to Ran to report his mother's death.
