Scope and Content: Subseries consists of commission records for the Advisory Planning Commission including agendas, minutes, reports, and correspondence and a Commission portrait.

History: The Advisory Planning Commission was established in July of 1963. The Advisory Planning Commission was the successor to the Town Planning Commission. The Commission was responsible for advising Council on land use matters and reviewing all zoning bylaw amendments before being forwarded to public hearing. The Commission was disbanded on February 20, 2017.
