In 1912, George built an arts and crafts style home in Burnaby which remains as one of the City's heritage buildings to this day. George and Mary had five children: Clara Violet (1910-1913), Mary (1900-?), Alice Clarissa (Clissie) (1902-?), Bernard (1897-1972) and Leopold (1893-1951).
