Crate, wood, no lid; with Chinese characters written directly on the sides of the crate in black. One end has a rectangular paper label with 3 Chinese characters handwritten in black.

Chinese characters literally translate to: "Huì shengyuán". This is a company name, possibly a location and name of medication. Other characters mean surname "Wong/yellow" "?" "vine" "slice". When adjusted for English comprehension, product is "Caulis Fibraureae/Common Fibraurea Stem". These seeds have a bitter, cold taste. They are used for heart and liver meridian. The seeds can be used to clear heat, remove toxicity, promote urination, and loosen the bowels to relieve constipation. They can also be used to treat eye swelling and pain, sores and boils, sore throat, diarrhea, dysentery, and constipation.
