- Crate, wood, with a metal liner; "Cat Chong Canton China" stencilled in black on side, along with other Chinese characters. Rectangular paper label on one end of crate has three hand written Chinese characters in black. Along top of edge of crate appears to be a metal border.

- Label contains 3 Chinese characters that are literally translated to: "flat" "cider" "slice". When adjusted for English comprehension, product is "Cacumen Biotae Orientalis/Platycladus orientalis/Chinese thuja". This herb has a bitter, cool taste. It is used for liver, large intestine, and heart meridians. It has been used to stop bleeding, harmonize blood, promote bowel movement, inhibit cough, and as an anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory agent.
